Petronics was founded in 2014 by three cat loving electrical engineers who met in grad school at the University of Illinois. Our mission was simple: to create the best automated cat toy in the world. We've been building cat toys and cat furniture for years in an effort to understand our furry friends better.

In particular, we became obsessed over figuring out what games and toys cats love to play with. After observing how excited cats would get playing with us, and how bored they would get with their automatic toys, we decided to build a better solution. It became clear there was only one logical answer - robots.

And thus Mousr was born. We have since grown to a team of 10 who all share a passion for making life better for pets and owners alike. We look forward to continuing our growth and commitment to enriching the lives of our feline family members.
