My name is Dora Hathazi Mendes, a Hungarian painter, living in sunny Portugal. I am a professional Artist, graduated at Moholy Nagy University of Art and Design MOME Budapest, Hungary in 2002 as Textile Designer specialized in handwoven textiles. After the University I was working as a freelance designer, produced hand woven textiles, blinds, cushions for private customers using an antic loom originated from Finland.
I restarted painting, after I left my country, and accompanied my husband in abroad. We have been living during 10 years in 4 different countries (Bucharest-Romania, Warsaw- Poland, Sta Cruz-Portugal, Lilongwe- Malawi ) and as my loom would have been too big to take it with me I thought it will be the best time to start to paint again.
I opened my Online Art Gallery at Fine Art America in 2016 to make my paintings are available not only as originals, but also as high quality prints and related products.
I am very honoured and thrilled, that my original artworks are decorating homes in 4 Continents, 17 different countries, and so far 28 American States! (2019.may data) I have shipped so far 140+ original artwork so every side of the World with 100% arrival rate and satisfaction.
