ZenByCat has been working with Yetihandicraft Nepal for several years now selling their cool cat caves and is proud to support this group of women and their small company.
Introducing their newest product: Wool Cat Mats. To launch this new product we ordered 24 mats in 2 sizes in ZenByCat colors. They are available for shipment now. If you want a color that is sold out you can order it through the custom color link but it will take some time to get, depending on when we place our next order. You can also order any custom color or combination of colors you wish using the custom color option.
To order a mat, choose the size and colors you want. If you choose a custom color mat, simply tell us in the box at checkout marked Special Instructions For Seller which colors you want using the numbers next to the colors in the picture that shows up at the top. For example, you could choose 19 and 33 for a blue and green mat. Or 30, 35, and 67 for a lime green, yellow, and purple mat. The choices are almost limitless but please limit the colors to 5 or fewer.
Mats in stock will ship within 2-3 days. For custom color orders, we will notify you once we know when your mats will ship.

Where your money goes:
Amount Yetihandicraft receives $38.50, of which $12 goes to shipping the Cat Mats from Nepal to US, leaving $26.50 to pay for materials and labor. Subtracting costs for wool and dye and shipping of those products, the women end up getting about $17 per Cat Mat for their labor and overhead (power, taxes, etc).
$10 goes toward shipping from ZenByCat to you.
Amount ZenByCat receives $11.45, of which 10% goes to overhead, leaving $10.30 donation that goes to researchers.

Amount Yetihandicraft receives $45.50, of which $12 goes to shipping costs, leaving $33.50 to pay for materials and labor to make the cat mats. Subtracting materials and shipping costs leaves the women about $20 per Cat Mat for their labor and overhead.
